What is the Readiness Index?

The Readiness Index is a score from 1 to 10 that tells you, from the very beginning of your plan, how likely you are to arrive on race day in a position to perform at your full potential.

How is it calculated?

It is based on 3 elements:

  • The duration of your plan: each goal has a recommended minimum duration to aim for a 10/10.
  • Your recent training: Campus looks in particular at the consistency of your long runs and the nature of your intensity sessions.
  • Your experience: the events you have already completed are taken into account based on how closely they match your new goal and how recently you completed them.

No. You can choose a shorter plan, but its duration alone will theoretically not allow you to reach 10/10. However, your training history and experience can partially compensate for the shorter duration.

What does a 10/10 mean?

A 10/10 does not guarantee your performance. It means that, given the duration of your plan, your recent training, and your experience, the conditions are theoretically in place for you to perform at your full potential on race day.
The Readiness Index therefore allows you to understand where you stand from the very beginning — and, above all, why.
